I recently assisted David Spurgeon, Architect/Builder, in preparing the design documents of a Sausalito houseboat for permit submittal. David is an architect’s architect and his systematic approach meshed perfectly with putting his design in 3d and figuring out all its nuts and bolts.

Recently, I’ve done several projects with 361 Architecture, located in San Francisco, producing construction/permit documents. I went into considerable depth on one residential project for Harbor Point, modeling its structural, mechanical, and interior design.

Another recent project, a house design in Chicago for Architect Daniel Menitoff, involved producing sun studies to secure the approval of neighbors and the local zoning board.

I’ve worked with APM Architecture, located in Dallas, Texas, for years. Producing the planning & construction documents for a housing development in Brighton, Colorado, has been an unusually involving undertaking, given the number of units, their variations and the variety of design features and material palettes produced to meet planning guidelines and overall esthetic interest.
